What More Women Need to Hear

obesity

All skinny people are not healthy, hence the now commonly used term in the fitness industry, “skinny fat” but why does society glorify what is clearly obesity instead of helping? If more women were worried less about what men think and were more concerned with themselves as women deserving of life then maybe women could stop falling into snares such as this stupid article’s title: ‘Men React to Plus-Size Snow White: We’re Attracted to This’ where the title seems to be derived not around what is important, women’s health but around what a man thinks of a woman’s looks. That is why I can appreciate the song ‘Flawless’ because you must value yourself first before you can truly build any lasting relationship. In a few quotes from Beyoncé’s song ‘Flawless’ – “We raise girls to see each other as competitors” “But for the attention of men.” I’m often asked why am I single as if, “Because I am female I am expected to aspire to marriage” trust if I aspired, it would’ve happened a long time ago, “Don’t get it twisted get it twisted.” But why as long as I’m loyal to “My Rock” (the most high) do people feel that I must “make my life choices always keeping in mind that marriage is the most important”- ‘Flawless’? If I make that decision it will be based on Scripture not circumstance, convenience nor immorality. What the Bible says about this : 1 Corinthians 7:_Bible Verses . The number one most common cause of death in America is, “diseases of the heart” according to the Center for Disease Control or CDC. It is known the more fat you have on your waist the more fat you have on your heart which can then lead to clogged arteries, congestive heart failure and/or heart attack to name a few factors. Workout and eat well to be a leader for your husband, kids, your cousin, nephew, uncle. What’s more is it takes love of yourself to get results; it’s for your health.
